Re: Seven Deadly Words of Book Reviewing
Wed, November 26, 2008 - 6:50 PMRiveting is a pretty cagey word for a book review.
Though I have to say....I recently read a book that was "gripping" for about 50 pages...unfortunately it then...plummeted.
Plummeting (has a sort of "reader beware" sound to it)
Perilous
Slam-dashery
Plucky
Grave-ward
Gruesome -
